Distributed Usage Logging: What to Consider

 

Abstract

This article will examine the use of Distributed Usage Logging (DUL) via the Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Implications for the future will be discussed. Also, the article will discuss what librarians should consider as these new statistics are released by vendors and other electronic resource aggregators.
