Summary
A model of transpersonal couple work is described, which builds upon Wilber's (1986) seminal theory of transpersonal development and Berne's (1961) Transactional Analysis Theory. A practical plan of assessment and intervention is forwarded. Essentially, the worker first assesses the primary level of consciousness of both partners and then develops a strategy to help both partners move more fluidly into their other two available (but currently underdeveloped) consciousness states.
