ABSTRACT
During 2005, the Senate and the House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress passed H.R. 6., which was signed into law by the President of the United States of America. This Act is known as the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
The Act modifies and updates several aspects of energy policy for the United States. This article replicates the sections pertaining to cogeneration policy. In particular, sections of the Public Utility Regulatory Policy Act (PURPA) of 1978, which are changed by the Energy Policy Act of 2005, are reproduced in this article. The following sections are quoted from the Energy Policy Act of 2005. No interpretation is made or implied.
