This article refers to:
miR-151-5p modulates APH1a expression to participate in contextual fear memory formation

Article title: miR-151-5p modulates APH1a expression to participate in contextual fear memory formation

Authors: Xu-Feng Xu, You-Cui Wang, Liang Zong & Xiao-Long Wang

Journal: RNA Biology

Citation details: 16:13, 282-294 (2019)

DOI: https://doi.org/10.1080/15476286.2019.1572435

When the above article was first published online, it omitted to reference to the following earlier published related study:

Xu-Feng Xu, Xu Jing, Hui-Xian Ma, Rong-Rong Yuan, Qing Dong, Jun-Lu Dong, Xiao-Fei Han, Zhe-Yu Chen, Xiang-Zhi Li, Yue Wang, ‘miR-181a Participates in Contextual Fear Memory Formation Via Activating mTOR Signaling Pathway’, Cerebral Cortex, 28:9 (2018). DOI 10.1093/cercor/bhx201.

Although the articles study the function of two different miRNAs (miR-151 and miR-181) in fear conditioning, they use the same study design and overlap in experimental concept, structure and text.

This correction has not changed the description, interpretation, or the original conclusions of the article, however it corrects the version of record through referencing the earlier related study published in the Cerebral Cortex article.
