Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Chiral Ferrocenylvinyl with Planar Chirality

(Sp )‐1‐vinyl‐2‐diphenylhydroxyl‐methylferrocene was synthesized via a new method except the classical synthetic method and identified by 1H NMR and MS. The structure of title compound was determined by X‐ray crystallography. Single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis reveals that the molecular structure of the title compound is Triclinic, P‐1 space group, a=9.0388(18) Å, b=9.6024(19) Å, c=12.195(2) Å, α=84.98(3)°, β=73.19(3)°, γ=72.38(3)°; V=965.7(3) Å3, Dx =1.356 g cm−3, Z=2, T=293(2)K. Extinction coefficient is 0.0077(18).
