ABSTRACT
The present work describes the eco-friendly synthesis of silver nanoparticles using dried fruit extract of C. carandas. The synthesized AgNPs were characterized by UV-Vis analysis, FTIR, XRD, SEM, and TEM with histogram. The TEM image of the precipitated solid phase of AgNPs showed in the range of 23 ± 2 nm in size. Further, the catalytic degradation on crystal violet dye in the presence of C. carandas dried fruit extract and AgNPs was also studied.
