One three-dimensional manganese(II)-organic framework bearing hydroxylphenyl imidazole dicarboxylate ligand

ABSTRACT

Solvothermal reaction of MnSO₄·H₂O with a multifunctional ligand, 2-(3-hydroxylphenyl)-1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid (m-OHPhH₃IDC), leads to a three-dimensional polymer {[Mn₃(m-OHPhIDC)₂(H₂O)₆]·4H₂O}_n (1), which has been structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, and IR spectroscopy. Furthermore, thermal properties of polymer 1 has been investigated.
