Spectroscopic Investigation of Divalent Mn, Co, Ni, Cu and Trivalent Fe Complexes With Indazole Schiff Bases

Abstract

Two types of complexes derived from bidentate Schiff base ligands (SB) having the general formulae [M(SB)Cl.nH2O for M = Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+ and Cu2+ and [M(SB)Cl2nH2O] for M = Fe3+, were synthesized. These complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, conductance measurements, ir, electronic and ESR spectra as well as the magnetic moment measurements.
