Synthesis and Characterization of Pt(II), Pt(IV), Pd(II), and Di-and Tri-Organotin(IV) Complexes of Some B-N Bonded Ligands

Abstract

Several square planar complexes of Pt(II) and Pd(II) and octahedral complexes of Pt(IV) with poly(imidazolyl)hydrido-borates have been prepared and characterized. The ligand dihydridobis(indolyl)borate forms five-coordinated complexes with R₂Sn (R = methyl or butyl) and R′₃Sn (R′ = methyl, butyl or phenyl).
