Abstract
Ruthenium(II) chloride complexes, [Ru(L-L)(L′)2 Cl2], where L-L = N,N,N′, N′-tetramethylethylenediamine (N-N), 1-(thiomethyl)-2-(diphenylarsino)ethane (S-As), N-methyl-2-thiophenealdimine (S-N); L′ = CO or DMSO, have been prepared by the reaction of [Ru(Co)2Cl2]n or [Ru(DMSO)4Cl2] with (N-N), (S-As) or (S-N) and characterized by elemental analyses, IR and 1H-NMR spectral data.
