Abstract

Reactions of [Cu(PPh₃)₃)X] with the title ligands yield [Cu(PPh₃)₃(LH)X]. These complexes have been characterised on the basis of analyses, IR, electronic, ¹H NMR, conductivity and magnetic measurments. In all cases there is adistorted tetrahedral environment around Cu(I) and the ligands (LH) bind through the thione S-atom to copper(I).
