Abstract

Acetone ferrocenecarbonylhydrazone, HL, reacts with hydrated lanthanide chlorides or thiocyanates in absolute EtOH to give the complexes Ln(HL)2Cl3.3H2O or Ln-(HL)3(SCN)32H2O (Ln = lanthanide), which, have: been characterised by IR and UV spectroscopy, molar conductance, TG and DSC analyses.
