Abstract

Treatment of CS₂ and Et₂O solutions of AII₃ with some aldehydes and ketones gave the compounds AII₃L₂ (L = acetone, butanone, cyclopentanone, cyclohexanone, benzaldehyde and p-methylbenzaldehyde), which were characterised by analytical and spectroscopic techniques.
