Abstract

Di- and tributyltin(IV) complexes with thiosemicarbazones and 4-phenyI-thiosemicarbazones, derived from 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde and p-anisaldehyde, have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR and NMR spectra. The results Indicate that the ligands show bidentate behaviour. The complexes are penta- or hexa-coordinated, the rest of the coordination positions of tin are satisfied by butyl groups.
