Ross Taylor
Ross Taylor is an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. He was also one of two faculty fellows in the Center for Western Civilization, Thought and Policy for the academic year 2017–18. Previously, he was a visiting professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was also inaugural fellow in the Multimedia, Photography and Design Department at Syracuse University.
Taylor's professional's recognitions include National Press Photographers Association Photographer of the Year (Large Markets), Northern Photographer of the Year, New England Photographer of the Year, Virginia Photographer of the Year, and North Carolina Photographer of the Year (twice).
His coverage of an Afghanistan trauma hospital garnered numerous international and national awards. His work has also appeared on the cover of the Best of Photojournalism magazine (twice).
