Statistically significant relationships were found between extraversion and those most frequently spanked; communication apprehension and introversion; introversion and abusive punishment; and communication apprehension and daily punishment. Distinct differences by Myers-Briggs Personality Type on communication apprehension were found to be significant at p < t301.
