Abstract

The discussion in Part 1 [1] is largely concerned with thermodynamics, and is quite general without any specification as to whether copolymerization occurs by radical or ionic propagation. Consider now some of the specific types of copolymerization. Thus, much discussion will concern the free energy of the transition state which is closely related to the mechanism and the reactivity of copolymerization.
