Lynn M. Harter

Lynn M. Harter (PhD, University of Nebraska, 2000) is an associate professor in the School of Communication Studies at Ohio University and senior editor of Health Communication. Her work uses feminist and narrative theory as resources in organizing for social change and spans a variety of issues including disability rights, gender inequities, poverty and homelessness, and democracy in the workplace. She is author and editor of several books and has published more than 40 journal articles and book chapters

Margaret M. Quinlan

Margaret M. Quinlan (MA, Illinois State University) is a doctoral candidate in the School of Communication Studies at Ohio University whose scholarly interests lie in the intersections between health and organizational communication. Her work focuses on a range of social justice issues including disability rights and gender inequities. She has published articles in Text and Performance Quarterly, Communication Research Reports, and Health Communication
