In 2001, along with his spouse, Dafroza, who lost many of her family in the genocide of the Tutsis in Rwanda, he created CPCR, Collectif des Parties Civiles pour le Rwanda. This association's objective is to seek justice by pursuing those suspected of having participated in the genocide and who found asylum in France.
