Nursing and Postoperative Care of Birds

Pages 9-14 | Published online: 21 Nov 2014

Abstract

The number of people who own cage and aviary birds seems to be increasing all the time, and so in turn is the number of birds being seen by veterinary practices. We may not agree with the ethics of keeping birds in cages, but more and more people are doing so, and expect veterinary surgeons and nurses to be able to look after their birds properly.
