Abstract
Applications of the Spline-Approximation Method for solving the coefficient inverse problems for differential equations of the parabolic type are represented. The considered inverse problems consist in a restoration of the coefficients of an equation, using as input data the measurements of the solution of the equation. This model corresponds to the applied inverse problems of heat-conduction and identification of characteristics of the porous media of confined aquifers. The stable and fast algorithms for the numerical solution of formulated mathematical problems are constructed. The results of calculations for model examples are presented.
