Synthesis of conjoined 1,5-dithiaspiro derivatives through catalyst free double reaction of carbon disulfide with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates and isocyanide derivatives

ABSTRACT

Syntheses of symmetric 1,5-dithiaspiro derivatives through three component condensation reactions of isocyanides, dialkyl acetylendicarboxylates, and carbon disulfide at 70°C under neat conditions are reported.
