Peter Skilling is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Law at the Auckland University of Technology. His teaching interests include political discourse and critical approaches to public policy. His is currently working on a three-year Marsden Fund project exploring the ways in which people construct and justify their attitudes towards economic inequality. He has authored articles in journals such as the Journal of Social Policy, Journal of Language and Politics and Labor History on various aspects of political discourse.
