Abstract
We introduce the effects of the multi-order and off-axis vortex on the propagation of Pearcey Gaussian vortex beams (PGVBs) in a chiral medium. The effects of vortex positions, topological charges and chiral parameters on the light intensity distribution, the intensity concentration, the focusing position and the radiation force are studied. In addition, the radiation force of the PGVBs which can capture particles is discussed, and the size of the captured particles is also found. Finally, the maximum radiation forces of the left and the right circularly polarized-PGVBs are discussed separately with different particle sizes.
