A new proof by the method of module (method of extremal length) is given for the following result of Ostrowski: If a univalent function on e<Rez,|Imz|<π/2 is semi-conformal at z=+x, then as u→+x. Our method reveals that the conclusion holds for some quasiconformal maps.
