Abstract
This is an expository paper. Its purpose is to show, in contemporary mathematical language, how to study Möbius transformations in several dimensions as linear fractions
with Clifford numbers as coefficients. The method was introduced by K. Th. Vahlen in
1902, but was forgotten for a long time.
