ABSTRACT

The distribution of permeability due to stress-strain changes in the gob region affects the air and heat distribution, forming spontaneous combustion (sponcom). The main question here is how the fluent flow model changes under changing conditions such as permeability. For this purpose, a geomechanical model based on a numerical analysis was used to determine permeability distribution. Thus, a significant advantage was provided to develop sponcom forecasting models over conventional ventilation measurements.
