Máire Messenger Davies
Màire Messenger Davies, Ph.D., is Professor of Media Studies and Director of the Centre for Media Research at the University of Ulster. A former journalist with degrees in English Literature (B.A., Trinity College Dublin) and Psychology (Ph.D., University of East London), she has taught in universities on both sides of the Atlantic. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Media, Communication and Cultural Studies Association (MeCCSA) the UK subject association for Media Studies.
