1. John Worth also purchased Boyle's The Excellency of Theology, Compar'd with Natural Philosophy (London: Printed for T.N. for Henry Herringham, 1674) and his A Discourse of Things above Reason (London: Printed by E.T and R.H. for Jonathan Robinson, 1681).

2. John Worth owned one of Boyle's major exemplifications of his experimental method, Experiments And Considerations Touching Colours, 2nd edn. (London: Printed for Henry Herringham 1670), as well as Boyle's Paradoxa Hydrostatica (Oxford: Typis Henrici Hall, 1669) and his Experiments, Notes &c. About The Mechanical Origine or Production Of divers particular Qualities (London: Printed by E. Flesher for R. Davis, 1675–6). He also bought some of Boyle's more speculative and miscellaneous works of the early 1670s: An Essay about the Origine and Virtues of Gems (London,: Printed by William Godbid, 1672); Essays Of the Strange Subtility, Determinate Nature and Great Efficacy of Effluviums (London: Printed by W.G. for M. Pitts, 1673) and Tracts: Containing Suspicions about the Hidden Qualities of the Air [etc] (London: Printed by W.G. and are to be sold by M. Pitt, 1674).

3. Another work published after John Worth's death and purchased by Edward Worth was the 1692 compilation of General Heads for the Natural History of a Country (London: Printed for John Taylor [ … ] and S. Holford, 1692), by Boyle and others.

4. As Susan Hemmens's paper in this volume makes clear, the study of mineral waters was a topic of absorbing interest among members of the Dublin Philosophical Society.
