I was introduced to Martin Parr’s Boring Postcards books by Swedish photographer Lars Tunbjörk, who passed away on April 8, 2015. Tunbjörk’s own images can, on many levels, be conceptualized as depictions of the Swedish social and material landscape when the People’s Home started to crumble in the latter part of the 1900s.
