Questing for internationalization of university experiences and reflections of Zhejiang University in China

Abstract

Zhejiang University is a pioneer and a model of the internationalization process of China's higher education system. Since its merger 10 years ago, Zhejiang University has made a world-class university building its development goal, adopted the international practice in the idea of running schools, educational model, scientific research cooperation, international exchanges and other efforts, and made important achievements. At present, however, the internationalization of Zhejiang University remains at the transition stage from the shallow to the deep level. In accordance with the needs of its internationalization development, Zhejiang University is implementing the next 10-year internationalization strategy. With the globalization of higher education, Zhejiang University will further accelerate the pace.
