ABSTRACT
Book reviews form an important element of our offering to the readerships of this journal. We welcome critical book reviews that help readers decide whether or not the book will be of use to them either personally or professionally, and whether it might be worth considering purchasing the text. This article offers guidelines to potential book reviewers, and we invite your engagement and feedback as we develop the book review section of the journal.
Notes on contributors
Mary Briggs is a Principal Lecturer and Programme Lead for Primary and early years ITT at Oxford Brookes University. She teaches on a wide range of different education courses and has published widely in the educational field. Her specific research interests are in mathematics education, leadership, assessment and mentoring and coaching. She has worked in a wide range of settings including children’s homes, special, primary school and Universities.
Margaret Barr is the Lead Associate for Scotland, Growth Coaching UK. She is a coach and a teacher. Her MSc in Coaching Psychology is from the University of East London. Until 2012 Margaret was the head teacher of a city secondary school, and she was formerly a teacher of business education and economics.
