HUANG Daoxuan is senior research fellow at the Institute of Modern History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He has been working on the history of Republican China and the history of Chinese revolution. He recently published Tension and Limitation: Revolution in the Central Soviet, 1933-1934 (Beijing: Social Sciences Academic Press, 2011).
