Robert J. Bonk is professor of professional writing at Widener University, located in Chester, Pennsylvania, USA. His educational credentials encompass technical communication and healthcare sciences, with his current research focusing on contexts of healthcare education. Dr. Bonk has published and presented his research both locally and internationally. His third book, Writing for Today’s Healthcare Audiences, was published in 2015 by Broadview Press. In 2009, he was named a Fellow of the American Medical Writers Association. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Bonk led the medical communication function of an international pharmaceutical firm. His personal interests include ice dance and watercolors.
