This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Journal of Communication in Healthcare: Strategies, Media, and Engagement in Global Health (JCIH). Since its founding in 2008, theJournal has contributed to shaping understanding, research, policy, and practice on the role of health and risk communication on many topics - and across the fields of healthcare, public health, global health and medicine. The Journal has always been striving to be a resource on the key challenges and topics of our time - from our work during the COVID-19 pandemic to digital health, to health inequities, to misinformation, to the Journal's upcoming special issue and article collections on the science of trust, climate change and health, and inter-professionalism.
On this anniversary, we want to thank our diverse group of authors, editorial board members and team, reviewers, readers, and the publisher, Taylor & Francis, for 15 wonderful years!
We are also grateful to the Journal's past editors, Editor Emeritus Thanakorn Jirasevijinda, MD, and Founding Editor Mario Nacinovich, MSc, past team members, Radhika Ramesh, MA and Gloria Zucchini, and our much-valued interns over the years.
Congratulations to all on this milestone and stay tuned for additional news on this celebration!
In the meantime, please watch the JCIH 15th Anniversary Video to hear the congratulatory remarks we received from members of our editorial board and team.
Thank you all!
