ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the different probability distribution functions for predicting the behavior of biomass pyrolysis mathematically. Comparative analyses of predicted results obtained for nth order distributed activation energy model (DAEM) are performed with the help of graphical representation. Asymptotic approximation is obtained for the wide distribution of f (E). The temperature distribution for pyrolysis of pine needles is assumed to be non-isothermal.
