ABSTRACT

The Spectral Stochastic Finite Element Method (SSFEM) allows sensitivity analysis of the response of a mechanical system for input parameters variability. This approach is applied to linear problems and is less time-consuming than Monte-Carlo simulation. This paper presents an application for mechanical behaviour study of glued-in rods for moment resistance timber beams.
