Summary

A case of dissecting aneurysm of the aorta in a 33-year-old male is presented. The pathologic features and the different pathogenic theories are reviewed. The polymorphism of the disease and the difficulties of differential diagnosis are stressed. Angiography may be of great help for certain cases. Surgery is the only treatment and must be undertaken in emergency. Technics and results are detailed.

Présentation d’un cas d’anévrisme disséquant de l’aorte chez un homme de 33 ans. Aprés un bref rappel anatomo-pathologique, les différentes théories pathogéniques sont passées en revue. L’accent est mis sur le polymorphisme de la maladie et sur les difficultés du diagnostic L’angiographie peut être d’un grand secours dans certains cas. Le traitement est chirurgical et doit être entrepris d’urgence. Les techniques et les résultats sont détaillés.

Anevrysma dissecans bij een man van 33 jaar; na een korte anatomo-pathologische herhaling worden de verschillende pathogenetische theoriëen overlopen. De nadruk wordt gelegd op het polymorfisme van de ziekte en op de diagnostische moeilijkheden. In sommige gevallen kan de angiografie van groot nut zijn. De behandeling is heelkundig en dient steeds dringend te zijn. Technieken en resultaten worden verder gcdetailleerd.
