Summary
In this clinical study, 23 euthyroid hot nodules are presented. Two main features describe this entity : the function of the hot nodule is not suppressed by triiodothyronine, the resting extranodular tissue can be increased in function when TSH is administered. The physiologic interest and the natural history of the hot nodules have been discussed.

Cette étude clinique porte sur 23 cas de nodules chauds euthyroïdiens. 11 s'agit d'une entité caractérisée par un nodule actif non inhibable par la triiodothyronine et un parenchyme extranodulaire peu actif on inactif stimulable par l'hormone thyréotrope.
La signification physiologique et le devenir de ces nodules out été évoqués.

Deze klinische studic omvat 23 gevallen van euthyreoiede knobbels welke mI praktisch volledig vestigen.
Het betreft een gebeel gekenmerkt door een aktieve knobbel die door trijodo-thyronine niet te remmen is en een weinig of niet aktief extra-knobbelig weefsel dat door bet thyreotrope hormoon gestimuleerd kan worden.
physiologische betekenis en bet geworden van deze knobbels werden aan-gehaald.
