Syndrome De Marfan Avec Lesions Cardiovasculares

Summary

The authors report 4 cases of Marfan’s syndrome with cardiovascular lesions : aortic insufficiency and aneurysm of the ascending aorta (1 case), mitral insufficiency and dilatation of the sinus of Valsalva (1 case), aortic insufficiency (2 cases). The patient presenting aortic insufficiency and aneurysm of the ascending aorta was successfully operated upon. The pathogenesis of the aortic and mitral lesions is discussed. In one patient association with cystinuria and in another with polycystic kidneys was found.

Les auteurs rapportent 4 cas de syndrome de Marfan avec manifestations cardiovasculaires : insuffisance aortique et anévrysme de l’aorte ascendante (1 cas), insuffisance mitrale et dilatation du sinus de Valsalva (1 cas), insuffisance aortique (2 cas). Le malade présentant l’insuffisance aortique et l’anévrysme a été opéré avec succès. La pathogénie des lésions aortiques et mitrales est analysée. Un des malades présente en outre une cystinurie et un autre, des reins polykys-tiques.

Samenvatting

De auteurs beschrijven 4 gevallen van het syndroom van Marfan met cardiovasculaire afwijkingen : aortainsufficiëntie en aneurysma van de aorta ascendens (1 geval), mitralinsufficiëntie en dilatatie van de sinus van Valsalva (1 geval), aortainsufficiëntie (2 gevallen). Het geval met aortainsufficiëntie en aneurysma werd met succes geopereerd. De pathogenese van de aorta- en mitralisletsels wordt besproken. Bij één der patiënten vindt men, naast het syndroom van Marfan, cystinurie en bij een andere, polykystische nieren.
