L’Antibiogramme De Routine Quelques Difficultes Techniques Et Causes D’Erreurs

Summary

Looking throughout technical difficulties and reasons of error in the antibiogramme, the author draws attention on the choice of the medium, the inoculum size, the charge of the disks and their disposition, and on the pre-diffusion. The use of the hypersalted medium is recommended to measure the sensibility of staphylococcus to methicillin.

Passant en revue les difficultés techniques et causes d’erreurs de l’antibiogramme, l’auteur attire l’attention sur le choix des milieux, la densité de l’inoculum, la charge des disques et leurs dispositions, et la prédiffusion. L’usage du milieu hypersalé est recommandé pour la mesure de la sensibilité des staphylocoques à la méthicilline.

Semenvatting

Als men de technische moeilijkheden en oorzaken van vergissing inspecteert, trekt de auteur onze aandacht aan op de keus van de voedingbodems, de densiteit van het inoculum, de concentratie van de disken en hun schikking, en de diffusie. Het gebruik van een sterk gezouten voedingsbodem is aanbevolen voor de gevoelig-heidsbepaling van de staphylokokken tegenover methicillin.
