Etude Des Germes Anaerobies Isoles Des Escarres De Decubitus

Summary

Anaerobic bacteria are commonly isolated from necrotic decubitus ulcers. In patients suffering from such lesions, Bacteroides bacteremia occurs not infrequently.

Des germes anaérobies contaminent fréquemment les ulcères de decubitus dans la mesure où ceux-ci ont atteint un degré de nécrose suffisant. Chez les patients atteints de telles lésions, les bactériémies dues à B. fragilis ne sont pas exceptionnelles.

Samenvatting

Necrotische decubitus wonden worden dikwijls besmet door anaërobe kiemen. Sepsis, veroorzaakt door B. fragilis, komt vaak voor bij patiënten die zulke letsels vertonen.
