Summary
We report the fortuitous discovery of a rigluatrial thrombus by two-dimensional echocardiography in a patient treated by repeated chemotherapy using a permanent intravenous catheter. Diagnosis, evolution and treatment of that right auricular thrombus arc briefly discussed. Performance of serial two-dimensional echocardiography in patients with permanent subcutaneously implanted catheters is suggested.»
