Terrorism — and some of the Legislative Challenges in Countering it

Abstract

This paper was delivered at an Australian National University Faculty of Law workshop on terrorism, on 21 April 2006. It provides a source of information on the existing legislation. At the same time there is discussion underlining the reasons for some of the new provisions, as well as background information on how the Australian legislation came into being.
