Abstract

ABSTRACT. Outside traditional risk-oriented public health campaigns, few sexuality education opportunities exist for adult women, particularly those in partnered relationships, that address issues related to sexual desire and pleasure. Data were collected from 677 women attending in-home sex toy parties to assess whether they sought sexuality-related information at a recent party they attended. Participants reported asking 765 questions at parties. The questions were analyzed for their content and for relations with sexual function scores. Question topics were varied, related to various domains of sexual function, and provided insight into the contributions that these parties may make to women's sexual health.
