The Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE America), as a multiple-event provider through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc., provides this self-study opportunity in the American Journal of Health Education. Category 1 continuing education hours (CECH) are awarded for each article. After completion of six articles, a certificate is sent to the Certified Health Education Specialist.
