2. As of November 2006, 74.9% of Internet users were using Windows XP, 3.5% were using Linux on their desktop, and 3.6% were using MacOS. Combined, Mac and Linux are used by about 70 million people. See Browser OS Survey, available from http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_os.asp
