Anton Schulzki

Anton Schulzki has been a social studies teacher in Colorado Springs since 1983, teaching at both junior high and high schools. He has taught all ability levels including nontraditional students and those in the International Baccalaureate Program, for which he serves as an assistant examiner. Anton served as department chair for many years and on numerous committees at the district, state, and national levels. He has been active in the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS), presenting at conferences, as a member to the House of Delegates from the Canada Community, and on the steering committee for NCSS House of Delegates (2009–2011), serving as chair in 2010. He was elected to the NCSS board in 2013 and is currently president of the Colorado Council for the Social Studies.
