Kama Cannon
Kama Cannon is a K–12 Gifted Education Specialist with a background in Geography, Oceanography, and Scientific Diving instruction. She directs DiveN2Life, a STEM Enrichment program for youth. Cannon earned her B.A. and M.A.T. at UNC Wilmington, where she's completing her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. She teaches Education courses at Florida Keys Community College. Her research interests include identifying and serving gifted students from diverse backgrounds, equity in education, and using place and problem-based learning to engage students in STEM and Humanities disciplines.
