Abstract
This essay reviews Michael Sadowski's book In a Queer Voice: Journeys of Resilience from Adolescence to Adulthood. Through a series of interviews completed over multiple years, the book gives voice to the lived experiences of queer youth and provides useful insights for parents and educators to make a positive difference in the lives of queer youth. Sadowski's book is a valuable resource for educators, parents, and those looking to gain deeper insight into how queer youth can successfully mature into adulthood.

Wade Kelly
Wade Kelly is currently pursuing a PhD in Information Science at Charles Sturt University. For over a decade, he has been working with adult learners in public and private institutions. Both his masters and bachelor degrees are in education and he has, for the last seven years, been working as an Instructional Designer. As part of his mission to make learning more accessible to the general public, he brought Nerd Nite to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Nerd Nite brings academic topics to the masses in playful and accessible, yet always insightful and thought-provoking ways. His passion for learning the fascination with the information needs of communities brings him to his current PhD research.
